Take heart: according to career expert and Glassdoor blogger Heather Huhman, many organizations and individual reports are predicting an improved job market for 2011.
In Huhman’s recent post, Seven Career Trends to Expect in 2011,” she details employment and hiring trends for the new year, including a modest increase in salaries, a focus on personal branding, and an increased emphasis on “soft skills” such as verbal communication skills, analytical skills, strong work ethic, time management abilities, acting as a team player and having a positive attitude.
