Habitat’s Young Professionals built houses — the edible kind — at their holiday celebration

Habitat for Humanity’s young professionals have learned a sticky lesson: building gingerbread houses can be trickier than building real ones.

On a recent Friday night, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals gathered at The Depot in Minneapolis for a winter holiday celebration and gingerbread house building challenge. The snow made travel difficult, but those who made it had a great time!

Members heard a talk from a first-time homebuyer, board members reviewed membership, and teams worked to create houses from pre-made blue prints.
