This Saturday, you’re invited to join MinnPost arts columinst Max Sparber and City Pages’ blogger Coco Mault for the literary event, “Booze, Underwear, and Rock and Roll.”

Sparber, a.k.a. “Bunny,” and Mault will read selections from their new nonficiton e-book, “Bunny and Coco Get Smashed,” a collection of humorous and fascinating investigations into the history and culture of alcohol and the mixed drink.

The pair previously co-founded Daily Lush and The Bottle Gang, two related online magazines that looked at the culture and craft of the cocktail.

Also reading will be Susan Marks, author of “In the Mood for Munsingwear: Minnesota’s Claim to Underwear Fame,” published this month by Minnesota Historical Society Press, and longtime music journalist Steve McPherson.
