Habitat for Humanity launches book club

Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals Network

Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s Young Professionals Network (HYPN) is excited to announce the launch of our new Housing Matters! Book Club.

Wondering what you can do to fight poverty? We have answers.

We’ll be digging deeper into the issues of homelessness and sub-standard housing.

Join us for great company and great reading on topics related to housing, poverty, social change and the meaning of home.

The group will gather the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m., October 2011 through May 2012.

We’ll be meeting at various libraries, coffee shops and independent bookstores around the Twin Cities. The first meeting will be on Oct. 3.

To register, contact Jill Kilibarda: 612-305-7140 or jill [dot] kilibarda [at] tchabitat [dot] org.

Registration for the eight-session series is required before Friday, Sept. 30, 2011.

You can also learn about all our free newsletter options.
