“So…” is the beginning of a question, an idea, a community, a statement of purpose. The “So…” series brings together emerging designers — typically in their first four years out of school — for lectures, discussions and social networking hours.
Together, we explore essential topics that were never taught in school and address questions you’ve been dying to ask since you broke into the design field.
Join AIGA Minnesota’s Emerging Designers for the next “So…” event, Press Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself, hosted by Bolger, Inc., a family-owned Twin Cities-based company with 70 years of experience providing a full spectrum of marketing communication and commercial printing services.
Bolger will be discussing ways to keep your print projects humming.
The evening will cover topics such as best practices for prepress, how a commercial printer can become a green business (how to maximize efforts to protect and conserve the environment and reduce waste), and what business decisions impact cost.
We’ll also tour the Bolger facilities and finish with a meet-and-greet networking period.
Space is limited; register now.
