YNPN-TC is dedicated to providing and promoting opportunities for the development of young nonprofit professionals.
As an all-volunteer run organization, we rely heavily on the skills, talents and leadership of our board members to ensure we deliver on that promise.
What exactly are we looking for?
We’re searching for people who are committed to contributing to the overall mission of YNPN-TC and serving a two-year renewable term beginning in January 2012, with orientation in December 2011.
Board members are expected to attend monthly board and committee meetings, participate in online decision-making and discussion, and attend monthly programming events; applicants must be able to commit 12-18 hours each month to YNPN-TC duties.
Additionally, qualified candidates should be:
– involved in the nonprofit sector
– interested in leadership within the sector
– open to learning new models of nonprofit management
– able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal communications skills
– skilled in a diverse range of areas that will expand and enhance our work
