Halloween Trick or Treat food drive 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28

Twin Cities Rotaract

This Halloween, make a postitive contribution to the community and fight hunger — join Twin Cities Rotaract this Friday for our Trick or Treat Food Drive!

Most food banks get loads of food donated around Christmas-time, but supplies begin running low long before then. Once the school year starts in September, food supplies are in high demand.

Because Halloween takes place halfway between September and January — the period when food shelves struggle most to meet demand — the holiday is a great time to rally the community together to help fill the gap.

Trick or Treat Halloween food drive

Twin Cities Rotaract will be collecting food donations for a local food shelf by “trick-or-feeding” along Summit Ave. in St. Paul.

We’ll meet up and divide into teams, going door to door asking for food donations. (Not candy!)

Local residents received prior notification of the food drive in order to allow them ample time to prepare food bags.

Come and meet the residents of Summit Ave. neighborhood, enjoy hot cider and mingle with other young professionals! It’s always a fun time!

For more details, visit the Twin Cities Rotaract Facebook page.

Time: 6-8 p.m.
