Join Torch Community next Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Minneapolis Club for our Career and Leadership event: “What’s Your Story?”
Get to know your fellow Twin Cities young professionals through memorable stories and learn how to craft compelling presentations of your own at this fun-filled interactive workshop on business storytelling.
Diane Windingland, author of “Small Talk Big Results: Chit Chat Your Way to Success!,” will provide practical and useful content to make any business interaction a future transaction for career success!
Windingland is a public speaker who specializes in helping organizations and their employess have more profitable conversations.
An engineer by training, Diane has owned several small businesses and has trained business owners, corporate employees and nonprofit volunteers how to become better networkers, better conversationalists and better presenters.
In addition to speaking engagements and private clients, Windingland teaches a weekly speech class for home-educated teens.
Along with your polished story, event attendees will want to have a new professional photos to display on their LinkedIn profile.
For only $20 dollars (in addition to the ticket price) you can get an updated professional head shot taken during the event! That’s a great deal considering the typical cost of a professional photo session is anywhere from $50-$100.
Note: basic touch ups are included inthe photo price. Any custom touch ups can be done upon request.
Here’s the agenda for the evening:
5:30-6 p.m. – Mix and mingle
6-8 p.m. – Program and keynote speech
8-8:30 p.m. – More mingling
Light hors d’oeuvres are included at this event, and a cash bar will be provided.
