Minnesota Opera’s Tempo program is thrilled to present Cio-Cio Sassy, an entertaining evening of art and fashion inspired by “Madame Butterfly.”

Tempo is pleased to collaborate with stylist Grant Whittaker to curate a fashion show featuring fast-rising local designers whose creations will be inspired by the opera “Madame Butterfly.”

Other evening highlights include an introduction to “Madame Butterfly” by members of the cast and performances of “Butterfly” song favorites by Minnesota Opera resident artists.

Cio-Cio Sassy will also feature live Manga (Japanese-style comic artwork) portrait sittings by Maria Lorimer, interactive Japanese paper demonstrations by Sheila Asato, complimentary hors d’oeurves and a cash bar.
