We’ve come a long way since those 5-inch floppy computer disks. Imation has unveiled a new flash drive that’s smaller than a pinky finger and holds up to 8 gigs of data. The Imation Nano Flash Drive is the Oakdale company’s smallest ever swivel-cap USB flash drive. It’s less than 1.75 inches long and half an inch wide. The drives will sell for $15 to $80, depending on storage capacity.
Bachman’s will begin selling flowers and garden products next week in Lunds grocery stores, the Strib and PiPress report. Minneapolis Floral has sold mostly cut flowers at Lunds since 1974, but Bachman’s is buying that flower shop’s grocery division. Bachman’s has sold flowers in Byerly’s stores since the 1960s. Lunds bought Byerly’s a decade ago. Bachman’s will now sell flowers in all 21 Lunds and Byerly’s in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud.
What’s a newlywed to do with two ice tea makers? Target‘s wedding-registry return policy is the latest local subject of griping on The Consumerist blog. More than 80 people have commented on a post complaining about the requirement for gift receipts when exchanging duplicate items on wedding registries. One commenter tells of resorting to re-gifting a George Foreman grill they were unable to return for store credit at Target.
