Fox9 reports Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said this to the Minneapolis Downtown Council Wednesday: “When they stay home, sitting on their couch with their nasty cat blanket, fiddling on their laptop. If they do that for a few months, you become a loser. It’s a study. We’re not losers, are we?”

Bemidji Pioneer’s Nicole Ronchetti reports a Bemidji City Council meeting was abruptly ended this week when “unknown individuals” interrupted the meeting virtually spewing hate speech and racial slurs.

Kare11’s Dana Thiede reports the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is investigating three office fires on Jan. 28 as arson according to an incident report filed by Golden Valley fire investigators. The offices impacted housed The Center for the American Experiment and Take Change, “organizations that promote and advocate for conservative values.”

WDIO has details on the most recent inspection at the Lutsen Resort Lodge prior to the fire. “According to the inspection report, there were seven violations and SFM says the owner repaired four of them.”
