Dave Orrick with the Star Tribune reports Uber will leave the Twin Cities Metro May 1 following the overriding of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey’s veto of a ride share ordinance that increases pay for drivers. Lyft said they would end operations in Minneapolis when the ordinance takes effect.
