Thanks to a surge in contributions in the final week of 2014, we far surpassed our year-end campaign goals.

At the start of the campaign, we set out to raise $60,000 and finish the year with more than 2,100 member households. When all was said and done, we received $92,346 and closed 2014 with 2,238 member households. Both numbers have set new records for MinnPost.

Thank you to everyone who contributed. MinnPost wouldn’t exist without the support of our members, and your generosity has helped us start 2015 in the best financial position in our seven-year history.

We also sincerely appreciate seeing the comments many of you shared as you made your donations.

Minnesota has a story to tell that the larger news outlets overlook. So MinnPost, The Uptake, MPR, and TPT News step up and fill the void, making us the best-informed news market in the country!
