8th Anniversary with Bill and Judith Moyers: members-only presale starts Sept. 1

Individual tickets for MinnPost’s 8th Anniversary event featuring Bill and Judith Moyers are now on sale to MinnPost Silver, Gold and Platinum members ($5/month or more). Individual tickets are priced at $50 each which includes a tax-deductible donation to MinnPost of $30.

Gold and Platinum members ($10/month or more) also receive a 20 percent discount off the ticket price. To verify your membership status, log in to your MinnPost account or contact Bethany Hollenkamp at members@minnpost.com or 612-455-6951.

The members-only presale will run through Sept. 7. Remaining tickets will be available to the public starting Sept. 8.

Bill and Judith will reflect on their life in journalism and offer some thoughts on where the industry is headed. They will be interviewed by their oldest grandson, Henry Moyers, a new college graduate.

This event marks a new format for our annual anniversary celebration. And a new venue: the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts in downtown Minneapolis.

The interview program begins at 7:30, and will be followed by dessert and coffee in the Atrium. Bar service will be available in the Atrium starting at 6:30.

All proceeds of the 8th Anniversary event will benefit the year-round work of MinnPost journalists.

Please note: Sponsorships starting at $300 are also available. All sponsorships include tickets to the Sponsor reception from 5:30 to 7:00 at Mason’s Restaurant Barre in the Cowles Center. Sponsors and their guests will enjoy mingling, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar, plus preferred seating for the program. We have 50 sponsors for the event so far and welcome additional inquiries.
