Lakes and rivers, farms and industry, woods and prairies, towns and cities. Greater Minnesota makes up the majority of Minnesota by land and almost half of the state’s population, but technology and demography are bringing about big changes across the state.

To talk about that evolution and the opportunities and challenges it brings, MinnPost is hitting the road with reporters Gregg Aamot and Greta Kaul for a special MinnPost Social presented with the Eugene J. McCarthy Center for Public Policy and Civic Engagement at St. John’s University. The event will be held in the Gorecki Center at the College of St. Benedict on April 2 at 5 p.m.

This lively Q&A session is part of our MinnPost Social event series, presented by RBC Wealth Management – Darla Kashian and Great River Energy, in which MinnPost journalists share insights with audience members in a casual atmosphere that includes a cash bar and light appetizers.

Ticket pre-sale to MinnPost members begins March 7. MinnPost Silver, Gold, and Platinum members have the opportunity to receive up to two free tickets while they’re available. Current members, watch your email for your promotional code to be sent March 7. If tickets remain, they will be available to the public on March 8 for $10 each.
