When the U.S. military deploys overseas, it often works with allies to accomplish its mission. The Minnesota National Guard has developed key relations with other nations, including Norway, Croatia and Canada, going back 37 years.

The guard’s adjutant general, Maj. Gen. Larry Shellito, discusses the guard’s relationships with those countries.
