Minnesota Republicans may very well be sweating the fact that Sharon Anderson — a non-lawyer with a very electable name — has once again filed to run for state attorney general.

She’s challenging the endorsed Republican candidate Chris Barden.

And Anderson has burned Republicans before. In 1994, she beat endorsed Republican Tom Neuville, a state senator, in the primary, before losing the general election to Skip Humphrey. And in 2006, she almost won the primary again.

She’s often known as Sharon Scarella Anderson, and she’s filed tons of lawsuits for perceived transgressions, including the foreclosure decades ago of her Summit Avenue house.

She also ran for mayor of St. Paul last year.
