Tarryl Clark, the 6th District DFL candidate for Congress, is going to the State Fair today to counter State Fair-themed attack ads by incumbent Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

Clark will be at the DFL booth on the corner of Dan Patch and Cosgrove at 2:30 p.m.

The Bachmann television ad — which apparently used unauthorized State Fair logos that have since been replaced — implied Clark voted for price increass in corn dogs and bacon and beer at the fair. Clark, though, says those increases were the result of the Minnesota Legacy Act, which Minnesota voters approved to provide funding for the outdoors and the arts.

  1. I saw the Bachmann ad around 9 a.m. today (Thursday) with a State Fair logo that looked awfully “authentic” to me.

  2. Oh gawd. What an opportunity for Bachmann’s “Jim the election guy” to show up with charts, facts, figures, and…..a camera crew!

  3. Here is what I can’t understand. Why can’t T.Clark’s campaign catch fire? The Mpls & St. Paul liberal media, led by MPR have been telling everyone in the 6th district how ignorant they are for years now. The MSM and bloggospere based in 554xx & 551XX have been lecturing 553xx & 56xxx about who they need to elect for so long. It just doesn’t make sense. The DFL sent T.Clark out to St. Cloud like a mercenary some years back to establish a beachhead. Something just doesn’t ad up. What’s wrong with those people in the 6th? Why don’t they do what they are told?

From the smug comfort of the elite cities.

  4. Please every national MoveOn beards keep sending money to Tarryl. I’m so sure you will win with her!!!! Spray money into this election! It would be better than the faux cash that The One infused.
