Just days after Carrie Lucking announced she was leaving her job as public affairs director for the state House DFL caucus, Michael Howard has been named as her successor. He starts Nov. 1.
Howard is no stranger to the caucus; he was a communications specialist there for the past four sessions and is now working at the Department of Education. He’s an active DFLer and is currently managing Chris Tolbert’s campaign for the St. Paul City Council.
Lucking has a new job as executive director of the Alliance for a Better Minnesota.
