Flags on state buildings in Minnesota are at half-staff to honor the victims of the shootings at the Sikh temple Sunday in Oak Creek, Wis., near Milwaukee.

Six worshippers were killed by a white supremacist, who then killed himself.

Gov. Mark Dayton ordered the flags lowered through Friday. In a proclamation, the governor said: “The victims and their families deserve our honor, respect and remembrance.”

On Thursday, members of the temple returned to their temple for the first time since the shootings, and today thousands of mourners are expected for a wake for the victims at a nearby high school. U.S. Attorney Eric Holder and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker are scheduled to attend.
