Gov. Mark Dayton will be in Milwaukee the next three days for the annual meeting of the National Governors Association.

The group is scheduled to discuss ways to contain health care costs, maintain roads and bridges, and train workers.

Dayton will be there Thursday through Saturday.

(At least we know where he is: the past two weeks the governor has taken secret trips out of state apparently to try to lure businesses to the state.)

A Wisconsin television station learned that the governors will each receive a basket of Wisconsin wine, sweets and snacks.

And many outings are planned, including visits to Discovery World, the Air and Water Show, the State Fair, African World Festival and others. There is also a Harley ride to the Harley-Davidson Museum and a private event at Miller Park.
