Elana Schor at Talking Points Memo Election Central notes that Senate intelligence committee member Evan Bayh (D-IN), on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show, expressed support for President-elect Barack Obama’s choice of Leon Panetta to lead the Central Intelligence Agency despite his lack of experience. “Leon Panetta is an outstanding public servant and I intend to support his nomination,” Bayh said.
